Guided tours and lectures, museum festivals, family Sundays and concerts, visits to the storerooms and workshops, leisure and holiday activities for children and young people, the Federal President’s history competition, theme days with special events, teaching in the museum, a series of events for senior citizens and, last but not least, the ‘medieval’ town of “Megedeborch” make the museum a place of discovery and a cultural centre in the city and in the state of Saxony-Anhalt.
