For general enquiries and information, you can reach the staff at the museum ticket office and museum shop during our opening hours by calling +49 (0) 391 540 35 30 or by emailing service@museen.magdeburg.de. They will be happy to help you.
Lockers are available in the foyer shared by the Cultural History Museum Magdeburg and the Museum of Natural History, along with an unguarded cloakroom. A drink vending machine, seating and a wide range of information material are also available
We would like to point out that both museums are barrier-free in all areas and also offer an accessible WC. Further information on accessibility can be found at this link.
Brief report and information on accessibility
As an additional service, we provide folding chairs free of charge, enabling you to take a break at a desired location during your tour. The chairs are located in the entrance foyer and in the upper foyer. We would be grateful if you could return the chairs to the point where you took them. Thank you!

The museum shop is also located in the entrance area. It offers everything from small souvenirs to high-quality, unique gifts, as well as a variety of inspiring items to browse and linger over. Of course, you will also find books, catalogues, brochures, postcards that complement our exhibitions. The shop is open during the museum’s opening hours and therefore also offers the opportunity to shop on Sundays and public holidays.
