MUSEUM OF CULTURAL HISTORY
The Association for the Promotion of the Museums of the State Capital Magdeburg (Magdeburger Museumsverein) was founded in 1992 and is a registered non-profit organisation with currently more than 250 members.
Its roots go back to the 19th century, when patrons and supporters in Magdeburg founded the Art Association, the Arts and Crafts Association and the Natural Sciences Association with the hope of giving art and science in Magdeburg a “worthy home”.
The aim of the association is to promote and support the museums in Magdeburg in a variety of ways.
